 It is the 7th anniversary of the coup attempt of July 15, 2016.

President DEMİR, emphasizing that the significance of July 15 is understood better with each passing day and that the Turkish nation has grown even stronger by standing hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder against traitors, continued his speech as follows: In his message, he stated that Turkey had successfully passed the toughest test of democracy on July 15 and demonstrated that democracy is too strong to yield to any crude force, declaring, "Our nation has openly proclaimed that no power, apart from the will of the people, can govern the Republic of Turkey"—our noble nation that defends our democracy and our homeland,

He added that Turkey will continue, both at home and abroad, to dismantle the traps set against it and will move toward the 2023 targets with even greater strength and more determined steps. He affirmed that no one will have the power to break our unity and togetherness on these lands. President DEMİR further demonstrated on July 15 that the spirit of Çanakkale is always rekindled when needed. He declared that the best response we can give to the traitors is to work, produce, and provide employment in order to elevate Turkey to the level of contemporary civilizations. We will continue to invest and produce in defiance of terrorism. Our agenda will always be the economy. The world will take notice of us through the added value we create and through the record-breaking exports, industry, and technology of our nation.
