In order for capacity reports to be issued, the firms for which the capacity report will be issued must first be registered in the trade registry and be a member of the chamber where the workplace is located. Capacity reports include the contact information of the firms, as well as their annual production capacities, machinery park, raw materials used, capacity calculations, and capital and employment information. Purpose of Issuing Capacity Reports: Capacity reports are issued to determine the industrial production power of the country and to shed light on economic and strategic plans and programs. Places Where Capacity Reports Are Used: Investment Incentive Certificate, Inward Processing Permit Certificate, Industrial Registry Certificate applications, Various import and export transactions, Tenders, Credit procurement, Preparation of the Industrial Database Review and Approval of Capacity Reports Capacity reports prepared by our chambers in accordance with the authority given by Law No. 5174, the Chamber Transactions Regulation, and the current methods and criteria are reviewed and approved by our Union. The source of the Industrial Database, which is the only database that can produce information about our country's industry, is the Capacity Reports. The most important change made in the capacity reports reviewed and approved by our Union's experts is the coding of the "Products", "Main Production Machines", and "Main Raw Materials" included in the capacity reports. As of August 2010, all our chambers have started to send capacity reports through the Capacity Report Automation System.
