K Certificate Unit

  • WHAT IS A K AUTHORIZATION CERTIFICATE?

    In the Road Transport Regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 25.02.2004 and numbered 25384, amendments were made with the Official Gazette dated 08.09.2004 and numbered 25577. As a result of the amendments made, standards related to the transportation of goods and passengers by road were determined, and it was made mandatory for those engaged in this business to obtain a TRANSPORTATION CERTIFICATE.

    K type authorization certificate: It is given to real and legal persons who will carry out domestic goods transportation. According to the form of transportation, it is divided into the following types:

    K1 Authorization Certificate

    For those who carry out domestic freight and goods transportation according to a specific time schedule or without adhering to a specific time schedule.

    K1* (starred) Authorization Certificate

    For those who carry out domestic freight and goods transportation with vehicles registered and licensed commercially with a maximum load weight of 3500 kg and below, according to a specific time schedule or without adhering to a specific time schedule.

    K1Ö (Special Purpose) Authorization Certificate

    For those who carry out transportation with special purpose vehicles such as tow trucks, wheeled cranes, armored vehicles carrying valuable papers/metals like money/gold, registered and licensed commercially, according to a specific time schedule or without adhering to a specific time schedule.

    K2 Authorization Certificate

    For those who will carry out domestic goods transportation related to their own business with vehicles registered and licensed commercially or privately in their own name, and who do not carry out transportation for commercial purposes.

    K2* (starred) Authorization Certificate

    For those who will carry out domestic goods transportation related to their own business with vehicles registered and licensed commercially or privately in their own name, with a maximum load weight of 3500 kg and below, and who do not carry out transportation for commercial purposes.

     

    K3 Authorization Certificate

    For those who will carry out household and office goods transportation for commercial purposes.
